Directions for use
- Dosage:
- Use one 0.4 ml tube for dogs weighing over 1.5 kg and up to 4 kg.
- Use one 1.0 ml tube for dogs weighing over 4 kg and up to 10 kg.
- Use one 2.5 ml tube for dogs weighing over 10 kg and up to 25 kg.
- Use one 4.0 ml tube for dogs weighing over 25 kg; dogs over 40 kg should be treated with the appropriate combination of tubes.
- Application Instructions:
- Hold the applicator tube upright, twist off the cap, and use the opposite end of the cap to break the seal.
- For easy application, ensure the dog is standing.
- For dogs weighing over 1.5 kg to 4 kg: Apply evenly to 2 spots on the top of the back from shoulder to base of tail.
- For dogs weighing over 4 kg to 10 kg: Apply evenly to 2-3 spots.
- For dogs weighing over 10 kg to 25 kg: Apply evenly to 4 spots.
- For dogs weighing over 25 kg to 40 kg: Apply evenly to 4 spots
- Store under 25°C away from food and feed. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
Warnings
- DO NOT USE ON CATS due to their unique physiology; keep treated dogs away from cats until the application site is dry.
- Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 kg.
Precautions
- After accidental oral uptake, neurological signs such as tremors or lethargy may occur; there is no known specific antidote.
- Seek veterinary advice immediately if a cat is accidentally treated with Advantix.
Water Exposure
- The product remains effective if the animal becomes wet; however, frequent shampooing or swimming may reduce efficacy.
